Sinus Conditions

October Spiders and Insects

The weather turned and all the achingly obvious insects and spiders disappeared.
I did manage to catch a grass spider dining on Jiminy Cricket. I title it with "grasshopper" but I don't think that
is correct.

Then one day, and one day only, there were two Bold Jumping Spiders in the yard.
This one caught a little flower spider.

The last photogenic encounter I had came out of the sky, it's Sky King!, oops, I
mean that a syrphid fly (or mob thereof) visited our crocuses, and then the roses.

This is my monthy offering to Circus of the Spineless which will pop up like magic in a couple days at SNAIL'S TALES.

Addensplatz Corollary to Karl's Observation: History repeats itself - first as tragedy, second as farce, third as franchise.

Blogger thinks Far Cartouche could be a spam blog.

UPDATE: I guess Blogger has had second thoughts - FC is no longer a spam blog.
UPDATE TWO: Well, darn my socks! FC is again a spam blog! I think this is like commuting, yoyoing into the city and back. Blogging is so exciting.
UPDATE THREE: FC is pure as the driven snow again. I'm moving status reports
on this to the left column, and will try to remember to update status. If things
emulate Tommy Smothers then I'm lost.

I added commentary to the second google maps hike slideshow. I need to work
on getting the flow from place to place to work out more smoothly, but this
is a step up on the first one.

Friday Ark #55 is steaming away at Modulator.

Henry at Henry's Webiocosm Blog has some cool pictures of grass spiders without much grass handy, it makes for a nice contrast between spider and wall.
